Finally got lights for my tree

As a kid we never had lights on our tree as much as I asked due to fire concerns. I never got over it and now, decades later I found the c7 lights from the mid 50s and 60s and bought them in strings of 7 and 15 and will have them next Christmas. I don't know why lights on a tree fascinate me but I think its because of this lack of them.
Mom allowed the tree topper hard plastic angel with clear transparent wings to be lit when we got it.
I found it in the eves and I treasure it.....I just love christmas
