I think it would be nice to establish a thread for blowmolds.

My very favorite blow-molds ever--and I got them for a steal. They are in mint condition. Poloron 1968-1970 blow mold candles

And if you love blow-molds, this is the holy grail of BLOW MOLD sites http://blowmoldsrus.webs.com/

I can't believe they're not faded even a little.

No not faded at all but they were filthy--I mean deep down filthy...I used a Mister Clean magic eraser to clean them--since the color is inside the plastic and not merely laid on top.

Here's a blowmold I spotted in a thrift shop not long ago; I'm not sure I like it but had never seen one like it before. Mark found him under Union Products here: http://blowmoldsrus.webs.com/unionproductspage3.htm

Perhaps the earliest of the blow molds is this nicely detailed 16 inch tall pair of caroling figures from NOMA Lites of St. Joseph MO, ~1950 if I remember right.

Thanks, Fred. I've seen these in people's yards years ago, didn't realize they were that old.

Hi Paul, I believe they have a very early date for blow molds of either 49 or 51, I've got the info here somewhere on them.

Nice Poloron Candles Maria, I REALLY like the detail on those.

Thank you. What I like about them best is the fact that the color is inside the plastic not just sprayed on top; they were FILTHY when I bought them--got them for a steal--mr. clean magic sponge to the rescue--got out all the stuff from inside the details--that is a great product--warning---do not use on wood!

Thought you'd enjoy seeing this photo from a local resident who has quite the vintage blow mold collection
