Here is another one of the outfits designed to help find the burned out lamp. This one by Royal is really neat, but seems rather impractical. Can you imagine leaning over the tree fully decorated, and having to push the button on the bottom of each socket trying to find the burned out lamp? If all the sets are like this one, the buttons do not push in very easily. Probably because the button has to fit thru the bottom hole along with two wires. A very snug fit. Nonetheless, this is a very nice set. One of those that looks great just lit up in the box.

Excellent set Gary, love the graphics on that box. I don't recall ever seeing an intact example of one of those before. |

It was kind of a project getting everything together in one spot at the same time. Had a string once upon a time, and no box. Got rid of the string. A few years ago found a box, no string. Put the box in the closet and waited. Last fall bought a bunch of light strings on ebay and there it was. I guess patience does pay off, even if it takes a few years. Yes, the graphics are really good. The colors are very sharp and clean inside and out. The box needed a little help, there's that patience thing again, but I am pleased with the way it turned out. It is not perfect but it is one of the nicer sets I have seen in a while glad you like it. |
