I think it's from an old newspaper. probably in 1933. Unfortunately the fellow who put that page together originally has passed away, so I can't get any more specific than that.
The NRA in the poster is the National Recovery Administration, which tried to help regulate the economy and avoid slave wages and price gouging during the depression. No relation to the National Rifle Association.
