Hi,

I am working with Insignia Films. We are currently working on a project about Thomas Edison and would like to use some of the photos on your website. How would we go about that?

------------------------

Alex,

Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately the fellow who originally collected those photos has passed away and his family disposed of all of his resources, so I'm afraid I can't get you any higher resolution verision than what is on the site. :-(

That said, if you can't find a higher resolution version elsewhere, you're welcome to use what we have. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if you credited OldChristmasTreeLights.com somewhere in the fine print at the end. :-)

Tim Tromp, who runs http://www.bulbcollector.com/ probably has higher resolution art of some of the pieces, so I would check with him, too.

Alternatively, if you have specific images you need, both Tim and I could post your requirements on our forums and see if any of our readers have them.

Tim, I'm copied you on my reply to Alex, so if he gets ahold of you you'll know what's going on. :-)

Best of luck, all,

Paul Race
