Do you suppose the "lights" were the little plastic cones like the ceramic ones used?

I don't know; I've never seen a real one of these--or even a photo--just this ad....

Used glass rods, much like the ceramic tree pegs, draws light up the rod shaft to the outer point from a medium base lamp inside.

Re: 1940 LIGHTED TABLETOP CHRISTMAS TREE PREMIUM
They were made by the Glolite Corporation which for the most part was a line of slightly cheaper cost products similar to that of NOMA brand products. They came in green, white and I think there was a pink version at one point, several sizes and different candle configurations, straight out the branch ends like the one above and taller candle straight up versions. Some had painted glass candles and some were left clear. They didn't really flash like the add states above but were cute little table top trees which were affordable by most. The one above may have actually used a smaller base given it's size if I remember right and not the medium base I mentioned. I haven't found one of those particular trees in over 10 years but have had a couple in the past.

I found this Radko Bubble Light tree at a Radko store. I do not know if this is the first year they have used this for advertising their bubble lights. Has anyone seen any advertising signs like this before from Radko?
