Chinese Lantern lights

Ask about things you've come across that you'd like to know more about, as long as they're reasonably related to lighted Christmas decorations. When we figure out what you have, we might move the discussion to a more suitable forum (or start a new one), but this is a good place to start out.

Chinese Lantern lights

I have some old christmas lights that my uncle brought back to Australia on his travels as a merchant sailor. They are from the 1950s or 1960s. One box is titled Christmas lamps - decoration lamp set and the other is titled Chinese Palace Lantern (these are string lights). I was just wanting to know if you know of someone who would be able to value these or just tell me about them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
