Restoring Vintage Christmas Light Reflectors.

Alright folks, I recently stumbled upon a box of old Christmas lights at a flea market. The lights themselves are in decent shape, but the reflectors are pretty tarnished and some even have bits of rust. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience restoring these old reflectors? I've tried a gentle cleaning with soap and water, but it's not really doing the trick. I've heard of using vinegar or even a metal polish, but I'm hesitant to try anything too harsh without getting some advice first. Any tips or tricks you can share to bring these reflectors back to their former glory? I’d really appreciate any insights. Thanks in advance for your help!.
