1959 PERMACOTE C-7 CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Post by maria »

vintage 1959 Westinghouse Decro-Lite Permacote C-7 candelabra base Christmas lights. They all work and are in the original packages. These are rare because they were only manufactured for one season. See them here https://www.flickr.com/photos/markdpodm ... otostream/

Great lamps Mark, saw that listing, haven't seen them go for that in years.

They are beautiful. Would you describe the finish as being like the "ceramic" finishes of the era?

They are the ceramic finish Paul, same as the solid color GE/Westinghouse of the day.

A friend of mine is experimenting with some enamel paints for ceramic to see if she can achieve a similar effect....
